New Delhi: Coronavirus Latest Updates: Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS and a member of the National Task Force on Covid-19, expressed concern over the growing coronavirus cases in India. He said that ordinary Indians would have to wait till 2022 to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Dr Guleria confirmed that it would take more than a year to bring the vaccine to the public in the Indian market to fight the coronavirus.

In his words, “Our country has a large population; Buying the vaccine from the market and applying it to the body will have to wait a long time to make this whole thing easier. We have to wait until the end of 2022.

Talking about the sudden increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Delhi, Dr Guleria said several factors were responsible for the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the capital. One is the weather. We know that in the winter months there is shortness of breath, the virus spreads. Temperatures have dropped in Delhi.

The number of corona cases across the country has crossed the 75 lakh mark. According to a bulletin released by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday morning, more than 6.5 million people are still infected with corona in the country. A total of 65 lakh 6 thousand 754 people have been infected, according to ministry sources.
