Coronavirus News Live Updates: The Pune-based Serum Institute of India has been directed by the Drug Controller General of India (DGCA) to stop recruitment for the trial of the covid vaccine. The DGCA said the second and third rounds of the Kovishield trial would be closed until further notice.

The health of those who have already been vaccinated should also be closely monitored.

The Coxshield vaccine to prevent corona has already been suspended in India. It will remain closed in India until the AstraZeneca re-ticker trial begins, Seram said on Thursday.

Soumya Swaminathan, the chief scientist at the World Health Organization, told a press briefing at Hu’s office in Geneva “The trial of the corona vaccine has been postponed for the time being. It’s a wake-up call. Such things can happen, there is nothing to be disappointed. There will be successes and failures in clinical development and we have to be ready for that.
