The HS Class 12th remaining exams of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education as known as WBCHSE was cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020.
As early scheduled the remaining exams of Class 12 which was announced to held on 2nd, 6th & 8th June 2020 dates are now cancelled. The students & all concerned persons are hereby declared by the WBCHSE that No further exams will be helpful for the remaining subjects of class 12. Marks of those subjects will be given according to their already taken written exams.
However if any candidate wants he/she can can apply for a test again when the Covid Situation will be under control.
The education minister of West Bengal government has said “For us, the safety and well-being of students remain the topmost priority. We were making all arrangements to hold the exams on July 2, 6, and 8, but as the coronavirus is spreading, we are left with no alternatives,”.
“The Chief Minister’s Office, HS council president and I have been getting thousands of distress calls from the candidates for the past one week or so about the fate of the remaining exams. I hope they will be free from anxiety now,” Chatterjee said additionally.
Although the exam is now cancelled so the experts of the school committee are now decided to provide marks on the remaining subjects by the basis of already taken written exams. And as per the opinion of education specialists, and scholars it will be the most appropriate way to keep the students safe & secure during this COVID 19 situation. Students are requested to don’t be depressed regarding your results & marks.
