United States (US) World News: A month before the US presidential election, the Trump administration raised the issue of H-1B visas. Because at least 5 lakh Americans were losing their jobs as a result of giving these visas to skilled workers abroad as claimed by the Trump administration. That’s where Trump hit the vote.

On Tuesday, the Trump administration announced the country’s new strict H-1B visa policy. There, foreigners will have to face great difficulties in getting that visa. It will be as good for the citizens of the United States as the Trump administration claims. After coming to power, Trump became vocal about this visa.

The United States issues 75,000 H-1B visas to skilled tech workers abroad each year. Indians get seventy percent of them. As a result, Indian tech workers and companies will face huge losses. Ken Cushinelli, the country’s secretary of homeland security, said the new visa rules would disqualify at least one-third of H-1B visa applicants.

The new visa policy will change the definition of particularly skilled workers.

Technology companies need to prove that H-1B visas require workers.

According to an estimate for the fiscal year 2019-20, 1.3 lakh Indians work in the United States on H-1B visas. Indians receive most of the 75,000 H-1B visas issued each year.
